WOO HOO RACE WEEKEND IN AUSTRALIA

Take a look at the beautiful arial view of Surfers Paradise/Gold Coast.

I wish I was in Aussie Land at the race this weekend.

P.T. waiting for his crew to get his car going. P.T. had a mishap today and so he didn't get to race in the qualifying session.....awwwwwwwwww.

A.J had a mishap too today. He dropped to a fifth position start.

Stay safe. Race is on tv on Sunday @ 1:30 pm.

UPDATE:
DIFFICULT DAY FOR FORSYTHE RACING

Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia - October 22, 2006 - What was shaping up to be a dominating performance by the Forsythe Team turned out to be a disaster today at the Lexmark Indy 300. Paul Tracy made contact with Will Power while exiting the pits after his first stop and cut a tire which forced him to come back in and place himself out of sequence with the leaders. The change of strategy worked in favor of the Canadian driver as he managed to turn very quick laps, including the best lap of the race, and get back to the front. Tracy was running second with only a handful of laps to go when he was assessed two different controversial penalties by the Champ Car officials and was forced to give up two positions; he finished the race in fourth.

A.J. Allmendinger picked up three positions during the first fourteen laps of the race but also had some serious problems during his first pit stop. The fuel hose was still connected to the #7 Indeck car when Allmendinger exited the pits which caused it to rip and spill methanol which quickly ignited. Damaged caused to the car during the incident eventually sent Allmendinger against the concrete wall and ended his day early. Nobody was hurt during the pit fire.

Finished Fourth Fifth in Points

I'm so pissed off with Champ Car and it's officiating, I mean I can't even describe how upset I am. During the two incidents today with Mario (Dominguez) I was avoiding both of us crashing you know, and I get penalized and have to drop 2 positions because of it. So basically you are damned if you do and you are damned if you don't, if you make contact then they penalize you for that also. And what happened during the second incident at the chicane I feel that it was just a fix to get one of the Team Australia cars up on the podium, I mean it's so clear it's ridiculous. It's extremely frustrating because this was our race to win. We had a problem during the first pit stop when we touched with Will Power and cut a tire, we had to come back in and get out of sequence, the new strategy worked beautifully and we were right up at the front at the end of the race but then they took it from us."

Did Not Finish Second in Points

"Terrible day for us today. We started the race and we were quick right away, we were passing cars and making ground on the leaders and everything was going according to plan. But then we came into the pits for our first stop that's where it all went wrong, I'm not sure exactly what happened but when I left the fuel hose ripped and there was a huge fire. The fuel nozzle got stuck between the rear tire and the sidepod and that damaged the car quite a bit. We tried to stay out there but the car was extremely difficult to drive after that, I had to lift on the upshits and it would jump out of gear on the downshifts, it was just really hard to hang on to and I ended up making contact with the wall and that ended our day. The most important thing is that all my crewguys are ok, it's a very scary situation but thank god nobody was injured." "Champ Car News Article"

TWINS

Have you ever seen a pet owner and their pet side by side and thought...Man they look identical?

Take a look at these two pictures and see what you think.

Oh look...it is Da Prince kneeling by his two trophies he got for his amazing photography skills.

This is Skye-Blue ready to go for a car ride.

Do you see the resemblances? Both Da Prince and Skye-Blue have blue in their hair. Both have creamy/white hair.

So I guess?? that Da Prince is a Blue-Cream Point animal like his kitty.

SKYE BLUE~~14 WEEKS OLD

This is Skye-Blue with her mouse on my desk.

In the kitchen...FEED ME NOW!!

Helping Mom with laundry.

Playing in my kitty condo.

The "Possessed" Look.

I am growing very fast. I spend my day beating up Rocky (the senior cat), and eating his food when I can...........mee...ow.

I chew on anything and everyone.

I love toy mice. I have at least a dozen mouses laying around the house.

Sometimes I am loving. I kiss my master on the nose in the morning and when she comes home from work.

I love to play and sleep in my kitty carrier.

My favorite thing to do is go for a car ride. I hop into my kitty carrier and tell my master--"Let's go for a car ride, now!"

I have to admit..........I am in love with Da Prince. I follow him around like a shadow. I sleep right beside him or on his pillow.

To get his attention, I get up on his desk and bat stuff off. When he pays attention to me, I sleep on his desk top and watch over him.

I have one problem with Da Prince...........where does he go? He is here, then he is gone for a long time. SAD...........I miss him lots :(

DON'T DRINK AND TYPE

Funny story: I was talking on my corded phone in my home office. I set a glass of "Coca Cola' to the left of me.

I was totally involved with my phone call and forgot about my drink. Eventually, I got thirsty and reached for my glass of pop. BUT..........it wasn't there. Where did I put it?

OH NO. I found it. The cord from the phone hooked onto the glass and the glass of pop spilt all over the top of the desk and into the computer keyboard.

All the keys were soaked with coke. I wipe the keys off and took every key off and washed it. By morning none of the keys worked anymore. So off to the store I went and bought a new keyboard. Yeah!!! I can type again and communicate with the world.

RUN FOR THE CUTE PART II

This is Sharilin and Scott. Scott is a cool guy. They went to high school together. It was a surprise to see Scott at the run. He was running for his Aunt who has Breast Cancer (she is doing well). Scott gave me a big hug after the race. Thank you guys for doing the 5 k run and raising funds. YOU DID GOOD!!!!

This is Me and Sharilin after the race. It poured rain all through the race. We look like drown rats.

In support of the race and fight against Breast Cancer, the neighbors along the runner's route decorated their yards and put out chairs for the volunteers.

A pink hummer. Isn't this cool? A gentleman spent hours and hours covering his hummer with pink plastic and pink bows and put it out on display. He, his daughter, dog and his wife all dressed up in pink to show their support. I spoke with the gentleman and he was so kind. Thank you!!!

More decorated polls and yards on the route.

Band getting ready to walk the route.

RUN FOR THE CUTE

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. October 1, 2006 was the CIBC Run For The Cure event.

I was not able to do the 5 k run today, but my wonderful daughter Sharilin was able, and did the run. I was a volunteer instead.

15,000 people showed up @ the Calgary event and raised 1.5 million dollars in pledges. WAY TO GO!!! Let's find a cure quickly.

As a volunteer and a breast cancer survivor (Oct.14th is my 3rd anniversary in remission. Talk about a miracle!!) I was given many gifts today on behalf of The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Pink t-shirt for survivors.

Picture frame with a Pink Ribbon Quarter for survivors.

A keep sake box filled with chocolates for all that participated in the run.

Oh LOOK.........they taste so yummie, some are eaten up.

Laces for all that participated today.

This is me with a pink ribbon on each cheek.

I purchased this magnet for my jeep.

Pink wrist band for me.

Over all, it was a great day and great fundraiser. Tomorrow I will post pictures of Sharilin and me and some of her friends that participated in the race.
