LIFE OF A GYSPY

Wow, what a busy week this has been. Monday did the kitty thing. Found a beautiful spot in Kluny, Alberta. Elijah Blue is resting peacefully. We are gonna go back and plant some flowers on his grave.

Left for Manitoba after the kitty funeral. Drove all night for 14 hours and arrived in Brandon at 5 am Tuesday. Caught a few hours sleep then met up with my best friend Reina. We chatted for hours and went out for lunch. That was so much fun.

Suprised da prince's daughter with a visit. She lives in Brandon Manitoba and was not expecting us to show up in the middle of nowhere. Had a good visit with Michelle.

Had a short sleep then on Wednesday morning, started the trip back to Calgary. Oops........we got side tracked. Friends of ours live in Moose Jaw so we called them up and had coffee with them. Got carried away visiting , so chatted with them for 3 hours. Finally, on the way home to Calgary.

Arrived in Calgary at 2 am Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Did laundry then headed to bed.

Thursday, gotta go to work until 9 pm. After work gotta climb back into that car and head to Kelowna to da princes' home. Will catch a few hours sleep then jump back into the car and head to Vancouver for the weekend.

Da Prince's oldest daughter and her family are arriving at the Vancouver airport Friday at 6 pm.

After that is all done with, I promise I am gonna turn in my gypsy wings and stay put in Calgary and work work work.

It is hockey play off time. I am loving it. Calgary Flames are rocking!!! Go Flames go. Game tonight @ 8:00 pm.

Have a great weekend!!!

MY ANGEL

Everyone....this is Elijah Blue, my angel. He is very very sick. I just took him to the vet. My Blue kitty has turned yellow. He has fatty liver disorder.

He needs a miracle. The vet gave him i.v. so Blue has some vitamins in his system. The vet showed me how to force feed Blue. The vet said if he starts to eat by himself in 5 days then he will survive. If he does not eat by himself, he has to be put down in one week. I have to go back to the vet's office Monday and get Blue weighed to see if he is gaining weight. Also, if Blue starts to throw up from the food I am force feeding him, then he has to be put down immediately.

The vet said two things could of caused the problem. Blue missed me when I went again so he refused to eat. It only takes 3 days of not eating for a cat to go into fatty liver disorder. Or he had a fevor while I was gone and stopped eating. How sad :o(

Da Prince has offered to come help me with the sick kitty. I have to work the next 3 days and not home to force feed Blue every 2 hours. What an amazing guy Da Prince is. He loves and cares for us completely. We are blessed!!!!

Easter weekend was great!! My sister and two nephews arrived Thursday evening. We had so much fun. My sister spoiled me with a bouquet of 25 long stemmed pink roses and a bouquet of iris'. I have a favorite chinese food restaurant in Saskatoon. She brought me 3, did you get that? 3 huge containers of chinese food. I love when my baby sister comes for a visit.

My aunt and uncle from Red Deer and my cousin met us all for drinks and a visit over the weekend. Nice to see everyone again.

I have to head off to work now. Please keep Elijah Blue covered in prayer. I love him so much and do not want to lose him.

UPDATE
My angel just could not fight his liver disorder........so Monday at noon, Blue will be laid to rest. Following we will find a special place to bury him. He will be missed :o( . My heart is broken.

HAPPY EASTER

Life is getting busy around here. My sister and two teen- aged nephews arrive here in a few short hours. I can't wait to see them all. They are staying until Sunday morning. They leave for the drive back home to Saskatoon and I head back to work.

I have an Aunt that is 8 months older than myself. She lives about 1 1/2 hours from my house. When I was born I made her an Aunt at the age of 8 months old.It is strange..........my mom and her mom(my grandma) were pregnant at the same time. My Auntie and me were pregnant at the same time, but I gave birth 5 weeks ahead of her.........hehe......I win (just kidding). So I made her a Great Aunt at a young age.

My favorite Auntie is coming to Cow Town this weekend too. She and her hubby are only here for the day, so some how? we all gotta get together for a meal and gossip session.........should be fun!!!

Oh yeah.............Sharilin is out of town (in Winnipeg) training for her new job with Billabong. She arrives back in Cow Town Friday evening, then she is coming over to join the family bonding. The house is gonna be filled to the rafters. April 22nd, Sharilin turns the big quarter century..."25". I am not old enough to have a 25 year old kid. I am only "29"......so she must be adopted.

Da Prince is far far away :o(. He is in Vancouver trying to get smart. Today he is taking an insurance class....eww....boring. Then he will see his clients in the Vancouver area over the weekend. If he is lucky, maybe his mommy or baby brother will make da Prince an Easter dinner? I sent da Prince home with a Chocolate Bunny.

Here is a funny story. Stuart left last Saturday to go back to BC (that is the worst). I have been up at 4 am every morning waiting for him to come back from seeing his clients. Duh.............he isn't with clients.............he went back home. Crazy brain of mine. Rocky my big big cat, LOVES Stuart!!! Rocky waits at the front door and Meows at the top of his lungs for Stuart for hours at a time. When that does not bring back Stuart, Rocky starts climbing under beds and Meowing at the top of his lungs. Then he starts ripping the bedding off every bed in the house and you guessed it, Meows and I mean meows at the top of his lungs for hours. I asked Rocky where Stuart was............he ran to the front door then came back to me and bit me for teasing him............ouch.

I put Bunnies on my nails for Easter. I am ready for the celebration. Easter is a holiday that brings hope to all. Jesus died for us so that we may have life with him forever. Please take the time to give thanks to God for his gift of eternal life.

And of course..........eat lots and lots of chocolate. If you are a parent and responsible for an easter egg hunt, eat your share first then give the kids the left over eggs.

IT'S MONDAY

I survived the weekend. How about you?

Sunday's race was a disaster. Paul Tracy was dropped kicked by his team-mate's car half way through the first lap. Paul then spun around and took out 3 other cars. Not a good start to the year. Good news from the race.... a female has been added to the field. Katherine Legg placed 8th place, considering she started in 17th position. Way to go!!!

The Calgary Flames hockey team has made it into the play offs this past weekend!!! Way to go!!!

Today it is pouring rain on and off in Cow Town. Tonight it is suppose to turn to snow. EWWW. So I am off work from the golf course until it warms up again. It is tempting to hop on a plane and head out to BC to be with da prince, except I am getting company so I better stay home :o(. Not sad about getting company, sad that I am in Cow Town and not in BC.

I think I will go shopping since I have the day off. Chocolate sounds like a good thing to buy today and maybe some healthy stuff too?

HAPPY SPRING DAY

Hello everyone. I am back in Cow-Town. The days of running around the country are over. I have turned in my gypsy wings for work. Eww.............something is wrong with that picture.

The golf course is officially open. Which means............I get up, shower and wander over to the clubhouse and meet my adoring customers. Today is suppose to be a warm day, so it will be very busy at the clubhouse and golf course. Which means my day will go by fast.

It is a sad day today. Da Prince left me. He is cruising back to BC to work there. When will I see da prince again? How will I survive without him by my side? Who am I going to torment now? My heart is breaking. I miss him already. My eyes are blood shot from crying.

Sad news: My precious baby kitty is sick. He has a hairball stuck inside him and he cannot eat solids. I am hand feeding him some stuff that will dissolve the hairball and I am hand feeding him water and soft food. He has lost 10 pounds in two weeks. I hope he makes it through this crisis.

Now for some good news. The Calgary Flames hockey team Rock!!! They have won their last 2 games.......which means there will have a spot in the play offs.

Paul Tracy, canadian Champ Car racer, first race is Sunday. I am so excited that racing season is finally under way for the season. On July 21-23, I am going to see Paul Tracy race live in Edmonton, Alberta......vrm vrm.

Next weekend is Easter. I love Easter. Celebrating the good news of God and of course o-d-ing on chocolate easter bunnies. In exactly 6 days, my sister and two nephews are coming to spend easter weekend with me and my cats. I can't wait to be with my little sister!!!

In 20 days, the kids, maybe I should be saying.............the grown up kids,(Stuarts' daughter, son-in-law, 2 grand children)........are moving back home. It will be exciting to meet them as they come off the plane at Vancouver April 28th.

Hope all of you have a great weekend.
