SAN JOSE (July 28, 2006) - Paul Tracy (#3 Indeck Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone) was the first car on track at the beginning of first-round qualifying for this weekend's Canary Foundation Grand Prix of San Jose, but he saved his best for last in taking the top spot in Friday's qualification session in front of a first-day crowd of 40,127. (WAY TO GO P.T.)
Starting grid for Sunday's race: SeaBass 1st, P.T. 2nd and A.J. 3rd. Stay safe and finish P.T. 1, A.J. 2.
UPDATE:
P.T. had a huge crash so he didn't finish the race..............DNF...........no points for P.T. this race.................ahhhhhhhh.
A.J. received a penatly for his pit stop, so he had to go to the back of the pack and finished 7th.
Not a good race weekend for the guys.
Next race @ Denver, August 13th.
